The proposed project focuses on improvements along Cypress Road from NW 4th Street and East Acre Drive.

Planned enhancements include:

  • Sidewalk improvements
  • Drainage upgrades
  • Traffic calming measures, including new roundabouts

The project is designed to improve walkability, safety, and connectivity for residents and visitors traveling through the area, with a focus on enhancing sidewalk access to key destinations such as the library, City Hall, shopping plazas, parks, and other community spaces.

Improving Community Connectivity

Once completed, the project would help connect sidewalks to existing pedestrian pathways, creating improved access to nearby City facilities, including the library and surrounding community destinations. The proposed enhancements aim to provide safer and more convenient travel options for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers alike.
