The Special Operations Division is a dynamic and multifaceted unit within the police department that provides specialized support and enforcement to enhance public safety and address a wide range of community needs. This division includes the Traffic Unit, K-9 Units, Street Crimes Unit, SWAT Team, Crisis Response Team, Field Force Team, and Honor Guard. Officers assigned to Special Operations are highly trained in areas such as traffic safety and enforcement, narcotics and gang suppression, critical incident response, crowd control, and ceremonial representation. By combining proactive enforcement with rapid response capabilities, the Special Operations Division plays a vital role in maintaining order, reducing crime, and supporting the overall mission of the department.
