LOCAL HOUSING ASSISTANCE PLAN (LHAP)
FOR FISCAL YEARS 25-26, 26-27, 27-28

NOTICE is given that a draft of the City of Plantation’s Fiscal Years 2025 – 2028 State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) will be available to the public for review and comment between September 2, 2025 and October 3, 2025.

The purpose of the Plan is to set forth strategies to increase the delivery of affordable housing within the
City of Plantation pursuant to Section 420,907-9079, Florida Statutes and Rule Chapter 67-37, Florida
Administrative Code.

Public Comment

Citizens are encouraged to review the Draft 2025-2028 Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) and provide comment. Copies of the Draft LHAP are available for review and comment. The document is available online at https://www.plantation.org/government/departments/planning-zoning-economicdevelopment/housing-grants/public-notices or at Planning, Zoning & Economic Development
Department during regular working hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM M-F). Written comments on the item(s)
may be submitted by email to Egriffith@plantation.org or in person at 401 NW 70th Terrace, Plantation,
FL, 33317.

Prior to adoption, the City of Plantation will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2025-2028 LHAP on
October 8, 2025 at 6:00pm. The hearing will be held during the City Council meeting at Plantation City
Hall, 400 NW 73 Avenue, Plantation, Florida 33317.

Disability & Translation Assistance: In accordance with the Americans with disabilities act of 1990, the
City of Plantation will provide reasonable accommodations for disabled individuals requesting special
assistance in order to attend or participate in this hearing and/or meeting. Provided however, that a
request for such assistance be made to the office of the City Clerk (954) 797-2237 at least three (3)
calendar days prior to the scheduled meeting.

Translation and/or interpretation services available upon request. If you have Limited English Proficiency
(LEP), please notify the HFD.
