Plantation Preserve Golf Course City Council Workshop Agenda Packet 

On August 12, 2026, a Council Workshop will be held to provide an update on the Plantation Preserve Golf Course Improvements Project, presented by Miller Legg. The presentation will include additional condition assessment findings related to the existing pump and irrigation system, pumphouse, and turf conditions. The workshop will also include a discussion of the proposed turf procurement strategy, bulkhead improvement alternatives, the preliminary concept plan and the overall project schedule. In addition, the consultant will outline the public communication and stakeholder outreach strategy to keep residents, golfers, and other interested parties informed throughout the planning, design, and implementation phases. The workshop is intended to provide City Council with the information necessary to guide project priorities, confirm the proposed implementation approach, and support future budgeting and capital improvement planning decisions.

Separate from the Golf Course Improvements Project, and not part of the August 12 Council Workshop, the City is also working with a consultant on the preliminary condition assessment phase of the Golf Course Clubhouse Renovation Project. This effort includes a comprehensive evaluation of the existing facility to document current building conditions and identify deficiencies affecting operations and functionality. The assessment will serve as the foundation for future discussions regarding facility use, operational requirements, and potential renovation and modernization improvements to support the long term needs of the golf course and its patrons.
