The Plantation Equestrian Center now offers equestrian programming designed specifically for children. Whether your child is looking for a fun weekend activity or an engaging way to spend their days off from school, our "Share A Pony" programs provide the perfect introduction to the wonderful world of horses. Through safe, hands-on instruction, young riders will learn the fundamentals of riding, grooming, and horsemanship right here in Plantation. Check out the options below.

Share A Pony: Weekly Saturday Sessions

Perfect for beginners, this weekly program offers an exciting introduction to ponies in a fun-filled and safe atmosphere. It is a great way for younger children to build confidence and connect with animals.

When: Every Saturday Note: No classes on Feb 7, Mar 7, Apr 11, May 2, May 9, and Jun 8.
Time: 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Ages: 4 – 12
Cost: $55 per student
Details: Students will learn riding, grooming, and basic horsemanship skills.

Share A Pony: Kid's Day Off

Looking for something special to do when school is out? Enroll your child in our one-day immersive program held on scheduled Broward County Public Schools days off.

Upcoming Dates: Friday, March 13th | Friday, April 3rd | Monday, April 6th | Thursday, June 4th
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Ages: 5 – 14
Cost: $100 per student
Details: A full-day experience where children learn riding, grooming, and horsemanship at the Equestrian Center.
