About The Instructor: 

 Juan is a WSI and certified lifeguard with a strong background in Physical Education and more than a decade of experience in sports and recreational instruction. He began swimming in 2008 through club training and open water events, developing a deep connection to the water and the community around it.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Juan teaches private lessons to swimmers of all ages and skill levels—from beginners building confidence to experienced swimmers refining their technique. His calm, patient, and encouraging teaching style allows him to adapt to each swimmer’s goals, ensuring steady progress in a safe and supportive environment.

Known for his creativity, clear communication, and ability to help swimmers feel comfortable and motivated, Juan focuses on safety, confidence, and enjoyment as the foundation for long‑term development. He works with swimmers at every level, helping beginners feel secure in the water while also supporting more experienced swimmers as they refine their stroke mechanics, efficiency, and overall performance.
