Adult Programs

Join the first Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m. to discuss a non-fiction book selected by the group. You can come to all or any meeting you wish. Contact the library for book selection at 954-797-2140.
Join every Monday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for open play and learn American Mahjong. Materials are provided but feel free to bring your own set.
Wednesday Lectures - New Series
America’s Founding Fathers. Lectures are selections in DVD format from The Great Courses followed by group discussion. Wednesdays at 2 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room. Contact the library with any questions at 954-797-2140.
Ageless Grace consists of 21 tools which address all aspects of healthy aging –working the Body organically to stimulate all 5 functions of the Brain. It is done in a chair because working in a seated position, works the core and stimulates the brain, other organs and systems in a way that standing doesn't. Every Tuesday at 2 p.m.
Mindful Coloring for Adults
Coloring utilizes areas of the brain that enhance focus and concentration and nurture attention. Mindful coloring is a purposeful act of paying attention to what we are doing in the present moment and may lower stress and increase creativity and relaxation. Supplies provided. 2nd Tuesday of each month drop in between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Love to talk about books, but don't want to read an assigned title? Come and share 2-3 your current favorite reads and listen to others' recommendations. Mingle with other readers and grow your reading list! 4th Tuesday of each month from 11 a.m. to noon.
Meet the first and third Saturday of each month from 1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. All abilities welcome, chess sets provided, basic instructions available and no registration required.
