The Stormwater Division is responsible for protecting the community from flooding, maintaining the City’s waterways and drainage infrastructure, improving water quality, and implementing capital improvement projects that enhance resiliency and public safety.

Through planning, engineering, maintenance, and public education, the Division works to ensure that Plantation’s stormwater system continues to serve residents, businesses, and visitors effectively while preparing the community for future challenges associated with aging infrastructure and changing weather conditions.
