The Department of Building Safety maintains its own records which is accessible to the public; an appointment may be required.  Our department maintains the records for property improvements, structures, buildings, building plans and related construction documents that were submitted for permitted activity in the City.

Our office hours are Monday thru Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; customers shall be signed in by 5:15pm for in person services.

For your convenience, you can research property information on our Citizen Access Portal. If it is not available on our website, most property records are kept on microfilm and are available for viewing and copying. The fee to obtain copies of any document is $3-5 per page. A deposit or cost recovery may be required in advance in order to process certain requests; we accept cash, check, or credit cards ($20 minimum required).
