TECHNOLOGY PARK

The Plantation Technology Park was established in 1948 as the first industrial park in Broward County.  The park is comprised of approximately 160 acres and is nestled on the northeast section of the City of Plantation, on the curve of Sunrise Boulevard.  It is conveniently located near the Florida Turnpike and I-95, bordering the cities of Fort Lauderdale and Lauderhill.

The park is zoned for commercial business to light industrial.  Currently there are nearly 200 businesses located within the Technology Park.  It is the home Kenig Aerospace, Imaging Diagnostic Systems, Topia Home Entertainment Systems, as well as numerous other small to medium sized businesses.

In 1999 the City of Plantation in conjunction with the Technology Park Task Force made up of various business owners prepared a Master Plan for the Park which initiated practices to improve the overall appearance of the park and the economic conditions.  Today, the businesses within the Park remain active working together with ensuring the area is well maintained and economically prosperous.  Technology Park is the ideal location for those businesses seeking a safe, clean, and inexpensive location.
