The Plantation Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency dedicated to providing the highest level of service possible to our community. Our department is one of a few select agencies to have earned accreditation from both the international accrediting agency (CALEA) and the State of Florida accrediting agency (CFA).

The Plantation Police Department will be conducting a Safety and Sobriety Checkpoint starting on Friday April 29th, 2016, at 9:00 PM, and ending at 3:00 AM on Saturday April 30th, 2016.
2016 Community Survey
As part of its commitment to the community policing philosophy, the Plantation Police Department is conducting a community survey to determine the community’s opinion of Department employees’ attitudes, responses to requests for service and community priorities.
