When will Waste Management pick up trash for residents?
Is trash pickup still on schedule?

Plantation Residents requested clarification from the last Facebook post on garbage/recycling and bulk pickup. We just received detailed information from Waste Management to further clarify the garbage/recycling and bulk confusion: “As the threat of any hurricane/tropical storm impact for our area has passed, Waste Management will resume all normal operations in your area on Wednesday.

The residential garbage routes that were not collected on Monday September 2 will be collected on Thursday September 5th.

The residential garbage routes that were not collected on Tuesday September 3rd will be collected on Friday September 6th.

The residential recycling routes that were not collected on Monday September 2nd will be collected on Monday September 9th.

The residential recycling routes that were not collected on Tuesday September 3rd will be collected on Tuesday September 10th.

Residential bulk will be collected on the next regularly scheduled bulk collection day.”

 

Does the City provide Sandbags? 
No, the City does not provide sandbags.

Is the Davie Wheelabrator site going to be opened this weekend? 
No, the Davie Wheelabrator site will not be open on Saturday, 8/31/19 or Sunday, 9/1/19.

Will the City handle debris pickup for the HOA’s private streets?
Yes, if the HOA provided the City with an executed Debris Removal Agreement.
