The seven member Plantation Gateway Advisory Board was created in 1990, to advise the Plantation Gateway Board of Directors, which is also the City Council, on how to spend monies generated within the Plantation Gateway special taxing district. Made up of property owners within the Plantation Gateway Redevelopment District, the board also provides input to the City Council and staff on the redevelopment of the District. The Advisory Board meets every other month on the second Thursday of the month at 12:00 Noon at the CRA office, located at 307 S. State Road 7. Dates for meetings for the remainder of 2010 are as follows: February 11, April 8, June 10, August 12, October 14, and December 9.
The Advisory Board is made up of the following members:

- Jeff Burley, B&B Interior Systems, Inc.
- Brian Hodgers, Complete Choice Insurance

- Davis Pulikken, Plantation Inn & Lodge Hotel
