The long-time treasure hunter has been salvaging Spanish galleons off the coast of Florida since the 1970s. She will share her amazing experience working as a treasure seeker and a few of her many interesting and funny stories related to her career salvaging sunken treasure.

Broward County Archaeological Society and the Palm Beach Museum of Natural History come together at Plantation Historical Museum for a Hands-on Workshop of documenting, sorting and preserving artifacts excavated from an actual Broward County archaeological site.
Speaker: Robert DePalma, Paleontologist

The Boca Raton native will share his experiences travelling all over the world searching and collecting the remains of dinosaurs. One of his finds, a triceratops skeleton, is currently on display at the Museum. He has been featured on the National Geographic Channel’s Dino Death Match.

The Plantation Historical Society will be supporting our City’s Volunteer Fire Association for their 60th Annual Barbeque.
We will have past commemorative Fire and other City landmark ornaments for sale.
