Plants & Trees

Plants and trees:

  • are part of the City of Plantation.  As a Plantation citizen you are fortunate to be surrounded by many mature trees. Trees that have been around since the first residents built the City.
  • keep us healthy.  They are living organisms that provide us with oxygen and remove all of the pollutants we release in our daily lives. They also reduce stress levels and make us more relaxed.
  • keep us comfortable.  Their shade keeps temperatures down; they reduce wind and noise; they give us privacy at home.
  • save us money.  Trees efficiently reduce cooling costs. They also increase the value of our homes. Landscape investments are one of the few you can count on recovering after a sale.
