TreeDay! - Usually held in the fall, this is an educational opportunity to provide residents with information on plants, trees, landscaping and related topics. Check out last year's program!

Arbor Week - During this event, members of the Department of Landscape Architecture visit schools, explaining the wonders of trees, urban forestry, landscape architecture and other related professions. We explore the school’s campus with the kids, looking at the wonders Mother Nature has provided us. The students get an opportunity to help plant a tree and are therefore afforded the opportunity to see the tree mature as they continue their education.

City of Plantation Shade Brigade: This is a great group of people interested in all aspects of horticulture, arboriculture, and landscaping. Come join us for our meetings on the 4th Thursday of each month. In addition to education, we take day trips and do planting projects.
