Assuming $200,000 property with a $50,000 exemption, the total ad valorem taxes would be $3,129.40 for tax year 2011. The City of Plantation would receive $705.97 with a millage of 4.6142 from that amount. For every tax $1.00 you pay to Broward County, the City of Plantation receives approximately 22 cents.
