* Life safety systems include the following: Fire sprinkler, standpipe, and fire pumps, fire alarm, smoke control and exhaust, duct detectors, dampers (for smoke control and exhaust systems), generators, emergency lights and exit signs, hood and hood suppression systems, other type suppression systems, explosives storage and containment and facilities, fuel lines and fuel storage tanks, means of egress (doors and windows), automatic gate systems, etc., and all system appurtenances and building appurtenances which the fire chief or his designee reasonably determine to be life safety systems.
NON-RESIDENTIAL ADDITION/INTERIOR COMPLETION/ALTERATION
Fee Schedule is based the same as New Non-Residential Construction, minus fees for Engineering, Roofing, Storm Shutters, Paving and Drainage. Broward County tax, Building Code Surcharge Fees, Certification & Maintenance fees and Administrative/Overhead Surcharge will be assessed to all permits.
RESIDENTIAL ADDITION/ALTERATION
Fee Schedule is based the same as New Non-Residential Construction, minus fees for Engineering, Roofing, Storm Shutters, Paving and Drainage. Broward County tax, Building Code Surcharge Fees, Certification & Maintenance fees and Administrative/Overhead Surcharge will be assessed to all permits (certain exceptions may apply).
MISCELLANEOUS PERMITS
1.5% of Est. Cost with $75.00 minimum.
PROCESSING APPLICATION FEES
Processing fees are charged as follows: $20 for the first page of plans and $10 for each additional page.
