The Building Department has its own microfilm office which is accessible to the public. Our microfilm division maintains records of property improvements, structures, buildings, building plans and permits, and related construction documents for permitted activity in the City. Our hours of operation are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
For your convenience, you can research property information on our website at www.velocityhall.com. If it is not available on our website, most property records are kept on microfilm and are readily available for viewing and copying from a viewing station. The fee to obtain copies of any document is $3.00 per page (no fee to view documents). A deposit or cost recovery may be required in advance in order to process certain requests; we accept cash, check, or credit cards ($20 minimum required).
