Building Department

The Building Department has its own microfilm office and is available to the public from Monday thru Friday between 8:00am – 4:00pm but is closed for lunch between 12pm - 1:00pm; last Sign-in is 4:00pm.  You may reach one of our Customer Service Clerks at (954) 797-2783.

For your convenience, there is a viewing station available at the counter for use by customers.  This service allows customers to view various documents relating to a specific property address or if the documents are on microfilm, a public request form must be filled out.  The fee to print copies of any documents viewed is $3.00 per page; a $25.00 deposit may be required to be paid in advance (we can only accept cash or checks, no credit cards), in order for the staff to process certain requests.  Requests for large projects may require an additional deposit.  There is no charge to view any documents.
